We are excited to welcome Brett Tomson as the newest member of the ever-growing Matchbook AI team. Brett joins our company as VP of Engineering and brings with him over 20 years of IT engineering and architecture experience, as well as proven and visionary leadership that delivers innovative results.
He joins us from Solid Quality USA where he was Practice Director for North America (2012-2020), and from YES.US as CTO (2015-2020). Prior to that, he spent nearly 4 years as BI Architect with Itron, and 3 years at Wachovia as Technical Lead/Architect. Brett is also the Founder and former Chapter Leader (2009-2015) for the Triangle SQL Server User Group (TriPASS) in Raleigh, NC.

Brett is a highly skilled and multi-faceted technical leader specializing in SQL database architecture, warehousing, development, and query tuning. In addition, he also is highly adept in application development and design as well as being the author of numerous articles and books.

In his free time, Brett enjoys cooking what he thinks are new and exciting recipes, reading for entertainment, relaxing to great music and art but most of all, being a complete and total uber nerd about computers, video games, tabletop gaming, TV and movies.
